I went to see 'Inglourious Basterds' a couple of weeks ago, and Hans Landa a.k.a. 'The Jew Hunter' annoyed the crap out of me, I really hated him. But somehow he has a certain charm over him (probably why he was chosen to do this job; Hans Landa that is, not Christoph Waltz) and I really wanted to draw him, so here is a first WIP.

Now, I realize my last drawing isn't even finished yet, and the one I was working on before that, but hey I can do what I want.

Tell me what you think about it so far.

EDIT: I still need to work on those wrinkles. Now also my brother told me he looks much older here than in the picture...

- tortillons and tissue paper
- 4B, 2B and H graphite pencils
- kneaded eraser
- reference picture
- about 33 hours so far

To be honest, he actually was my favourite character. I know he was a A-hole, but his: "That's a Bingo!" really made him an epic villain :)

He was mine as well, that's why I drew HIM and not Brad Pitt or anyone else for that matter. Yeah, I remember him saying that. The whole cinema broke out in laughter :P. Thanks for the :+fav:. Aren't you dutch?:P

Keep going! 33 hours is a lot of commitment to one project (at least for me).

Yeah I know, but I can't help it. It's the amount of detail I somehow HAVE to put into the drawing. It was a drawing tip from Linda Huber, to take it really slow and never rush beacause it will pay off, and it does:)
